On the occasion of Pulire 2011 has been awarded the Clean Green Afidamp Award, now in its third edition. The award aims to encourage the diffusion of culture of the care for the environment by raising awareness among companies to develop technologies or products that reflect the values 'green', while maintaining the effectiveness of tools and cleaning techniques. The value of the competition is underlined by the presence of the jury composed by experts on environmental issues, both technical and end users of the professional cleaning industry.
For the equipment category the winner of Clean Green Award 2011 is Vileda with Vileda Professional with 100% MICROFIBER CLOTHS Evolon, because it reaffirms the company's ongoing commitment to improving the production cycle. In particular, the process used to obtain the microfiber Evolon was developed with no chemicals agents and is extremely innovative and with low environmental impact. The amazing result has enabled the company to obtain patents for the production technology of microfiber Evolon. The presence of the Nordic Swan Label certification, and of the laboratory tests also support the statements of efficiency and sustainability of the company.
For the category chemicals the winner of Clean Green Award 2011 is AR-CO Chimica with GYNIUS ECOLABEL because the company chose the strategy to put the environmental impact at the core of system innovation, working in synergy with label tools. It rewards the methodological approach in the enhancement of product information, with data verified and certified. The project meets the parameters of environmental sustainability in terms of reducing energy consumption, CO2 emission, economic use of water, reduction of packaging and of the containers used.
For the category machinery the winner of Clean Green Award 2011 is KÄRCHER - T12 / 1 eco! efficiency for the ability to make better use of available technology to achieve high standards of energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact. It rewards the version that does not use the bag, as it is proposed as an effective solution in saving resources and reducing waste. The presence of an engine of lower power, allowing you to maintain a high level of performance by 40% reducing the consumption of electricity, fully meets the required parameters of sustainability.
They were also awarded two special mentions. The first goes to FALPI, with software MyPadDock. It represents a model of good management practices, which, through a system of intelligent information storage, allows you to avoid unnecessary printing and to optimize time management, resulting in a cross and reducing environmental impact. The second goes to RARO with the QR system label, a code that contains all the information about the product in order to certify their quality. The product was regarded as a technological innovation that optimizes the communication product, ensuring transparency, and can be a good example of application in other areas.
This year's group of judges was composed of Simonetta Baldinotti,Vice President of National Houskeepers Association, Luigi Bistagnino, professor at the University of Turin, Teresa Borgonovo of LEGAMBIENTE, Enrico Cancila, Area Manager Sustainable Development of ERVET, Annalisa Corrado Technical Director of Kyoto Club, Marco Ferrari of Hospital of Lodi, Maurizio Fieschi, Environmental Consulting Owner, Giulio Guizzi, Ambassador AfidampFAB / AFED, Luciano Morselli, professor at the University of Bologna, Ilaria Melandri Social Responsibility and Environmental Management of Formula Servizi, Francesco Pedilarco, Consultant, Paolo Pipere, Head of Environment and Territory department of Chamber of Commerce of Milan. The Clean Green Award is under the patronage of the Representation of the European Community in Milan, the Ministry of the Environment, Land and Sea, the Lombardia Region, the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, Legambiente, Kyoto Club, School Design of the Politecnico of Milan.
"Afidamp's efforts into the diffusion of concept of Green Clean start by this award, to constantly provide new challenges to sustainable innovation," said Michele Redi, President AfidampFAB. "The goal of the competition is to award the ability to do business while encouraging the development of strategies to reduce waste gas emissions and the use of nonrenewable resources. The number of candidates at this year confirms that attention to these issues is becoming increasingly high. "
