Once again, innovation won at Pulire 2011. It is confirmed by the number of projects in competition, 27, among which a selected jury, composed of industry experts and representatives of end users and cleaning companies, has selected three finalists in each category. At Pulire 2011 the final verdict. The jury of the technical press, composed by GSA, Pulizia Industriale e Sanificazione, Dimensione Pulito from Italy and Inclean Magazine from Australia, The Cleanzine from the United Kingdom, Reiningungs Markt from Germany and Mantenymento & Limpieza from Spain, awarded the winners of the Technical Press Award in the category equipment, chemicals, machinery. Visitors of Pulire 2011 decided the final victory of the trophy.

The Innovation Award is now in its seventh edition and wanted to reward companies that have made the effort in research, innovation and development, to offer solutions to the market really new or new approaches to issues of professional cleaning industry, with the aim to improve more in terms of functionality, quality, safety and efficacy of new proposals.

The Technical Press Jury awarded for the category ‘equipment’ IPC with Hydro Tube that is innovative because currently professional pure water cleaning systems are complex, factor which limit their spread. With HydroTube, IPC aims at innovation, developing the top-effectiveness system but compact, light, practical for the user. The expected marketing results focus on distribution of the product at international level, thanks to the greater accessibility of this technology to various user categories: glazing, windows, panels, interiors, boats.

For the ‘chemical products’ category expert from Italian and International press choose GENESIS BIOSCIENCES with Biosan E – Card because it is an innovation in waste unit. It was developed though combining existing vapour release technology with a blend of natural biocidal compounds and a biodegradable wood pulp based card carrier to give a highly effective, long lasting and eco-friendly feminine waste unit sanitiser. This company attended Pulire exhibition for the first time and presented a winning project, demonstrating that R&D are very important in professional cleaning.

For the ‘machinery’ category the winner is AR-CO CHIMICA SRL with Gynius Box because it is a software engineer with the cost of detergents, mops and cloths, delivers cleaner ready to use in a controlled dilution through the system S.D.C. (Dilution Control System), defines the level of impregnation depending on the type of cloths and mop through S.C.C. (Cleaning System Control), checks the functionality of the system by connecting to a web platform. The impregnation is done automatically by the system, the percentages of dilution is scheduled, The operator activates the system by a badge and the system reduces the possibility of operator error and the execution time of impregnation by the operator manual.

For the first time in the competition history the Technical Press Jury assigned a special mention to Macro Srl with S01 because It increases the productivity and the operator comfort thanks to its size and its innovative design that allows it to work in the area reserved for traditional walk behind machine.
