+ 6.3% of visitors, + 9% of exhibition space sold, + 2 percentage points of international visitors from 99 countries around the world (90 in 2013)

Milan, 27 May 2015. Pulire 2015 reported even better than expected results, at a time when the international exhibition landscape is dotted by negative signs.15,136 visitors, (including 12,789 unique visitors), converged on the Verona exhibition centre with an increase in attendance of 6.3% on 2013. The event is increasingly international, reporting 26.7% foreign visitors, up to 2 percentage points compared to 2013 event (24.7%). The number of countries who visited the fair rose from 90 to 99.

271 exhibitors from 16 countries presented the the newest products, machines, tools and solutions in professional cleaning, on an exhibition area of 15,000 square meters. This area increased by 9% compared to 2013 edition. The companies with specific solutions for Outdoor occupied an external exhibition area of 853 square meters (208 square meters in 2013) and made demonstrations in an external display area of 2,000 square meters, designed by AMIA Verona for this specific need. A considerable part of skilled operators experienced the event in 2.1 mode.

Internet of Things is a buzzword, popularized by large IT companies and the media, regarding the possibility to embed electronics, sensors, actuators and connectivity in everyday objects, in order to gather data (from the environment or from the object itself), and/or to perform specific autonomous tasks.
Key to Internet of Things is the concept of Wireless Sensor Network: a low cost and lightweight network, based on mixed technologies and topological models, made up of sensors with low energy requirements. Theoretically, an IoT approach could enable the mass deployment of remotely controlled and autonomous robots: Artificial Intelligence, collaborative behavior algorithms and data-driven decision making, could one day allow for context-aware and completely autonomous swarms of self-organizing objects.

Verona, May 19, 2015. It opens its doors in Verona Exhibition Centre, Pulire, the most important exhibition of professional cleaning. The twenty-second edition of Pulire hosts 271 exhibitors, an area that has reached 14,868 square meters of net exhibition space occupied, with an increase of 9% over the previous edition. Present all the major Italian companies, confirming the importance that this event takes on a national level, while the international presence is consolidated with exhibitors from 16 countries, mostly from Germany, Holland, Spain and France. Also present were the United Arab Emirates, which have become more and more the bridge reference to the Middle East. There are also exhibitors from China, from the United States and Taiwan. Present international delegations from Brazil, Singapore, South Africa. International relevant companies have returned to Pulire, reflecting the fact that entrepreneurs strongly believe in the potential of the fair.
Puliren Outdoor - Focus on sweeping and urban decor with Brazil, United Arab Emirates and Norway. Pulire Outdoor, in its second edition, focuses on the cleanliness of the streets and the city, with a comparison with leading international entities. Ricardo Ghizi, Executive Secretary of Curitiba, Giorgio Starace, Italian Ambassador in Abu Dhabi and Giorgio Novello, Ambassador of Italy in a Kingdom of Norway will talk about urban quality, management of green areas, sustainable mobility in a confrontation with the presidents of Fise Assoambiente and Federambiente. They will illustrate the opportunities for Italian companies abroad. AMIA Verona, partner of the event with the construction of 2,000 square meters of exhibition area set up as a part of the city with green space, will illustrate the management of the service in the city. Some of the historical companies exhibiting at Pulire and offering solutions and products in this specific sector have occupied over 800 square meters in the outdoor area for performing demonstrations during the three days of the event.
